William F. Buechler, Jr,

William is Managing Director and a member of the insurance practice at Crowe LLP (www.crowe.com) in Franklin, TN. He has over 38 years of federal and state tax consulting experience including extensive experience in captive insurance companies. In addition, he has assisted clients in structuring captive insurance companies and provided federal and state tax consulting on several insurance matters including §831(b) and §953(d) elections. He has also participated in a number of multistate engagements, including merger and acquisition transactions, restructuring projects, credit studies, and insurance procurement tax projects. Bill received his BA and JD degrees from Vanderbilt University.
